PREMIUM Trade Show, Berlin

The first trade show I attended was PREMIUM , in Berlin.

armedangels.

I loved this german brand's stand. Their label is designed around eco, social and fair garment manufacture.
As im looking to do a topic around Eco-design for my course dissertation, it was interesting to see a foriegn brand adopting similar ethics to other brands I'm already familiar with.

The visual merchandising and set design with the simple floor graffiti and green grass, really communicated the brands identity and morals.

Here's the labels blog online.
Theres a post from their stand at PREMIUM.

Berlin - the Shopping

Me and Em discovered a vintage ex-military stock shop on the main road by our hotel.
Such a GEM.
Marine jumpers and military coats galore.

CATWALK ; cafe bar
Loved this place, directors chairs with the worlds beauties names emblazoned onto them.

KaDeWe
Easily the most glam shopping destination in Berlin. Its such a beautiful department store.
I got my make-up done at the YSL stand here...the outcome was not as beautiful as the shop, lets just say that.

Galleries Lafayette.

This was another beautiful , well renowned department store in Berlin.
The cosmetics floor was absolutely drop dead gorgeous.
encased in a glass dome, the store was a shiny crystal wonderland.

The Vivienne Westwood stand in Lafayette was B-E-A-UTIFUL.
I think my heart actually stopped for several moments.

Ich liebe Berlin - Arrival and Hotel Transit Loft.

Ich liebe Berlin

Berlin
17/1/11 - 23/1/11
~

Here is the hotel we stayed at during our stay. It was in the north-eastern area of East Berlin. The buildings were grey, tall and simplistic...very different from the areas in West Berlin.
